Boondox Spring Ride

Here are some of the pictures we have received from the April 1st trail ride out of Whitehall. Hope everyone had a good time. We had over 36 people there and 16 Rigs. It was nice to meet new people and see their trucks. It was great to share time on the trails with them. Can't wait 'till next time.       Please send us your best shots

Spring Ride April 1st, 2006
We headed into the trails just a few miles outside Whitehall.
Thanks to Plumb's for letting us meet in their parking lot, leave our tow rigs there and all the free coffee.
"Twins" climbs a sandy incline followed by "Team Sova"
"Shredder" leads them into the mud in his nice clean daily driver.
"PurpleTracker" has no trouble with the first mud hole.
The second mud hole proves too rutted for 31s and our leader needs to be rescued. Oops.
Bryan in his big Samurai shows how it's done.
"Hardcore 4x4" is right. Piece of cake.
"SpitfireRick" in his Sammy/Triumph/Buick rode caboose to keep our group together. Thanks Rick.
Adams dad has no trouble either with his seriously set-up Sammy.
Keith put his new tires to the test with some heavy throttle over the root ledge.
Mouths dropped as the Sova Samurai tested the rollover theory.
"Twins" blasts his way to the top of the first real challenging hill of the day.
While we played on the "Easy" hill the hardcore boys climbed the steep side hill.
Mike, I think you need bigger tires. They're spinning.
Adam and his dad crawl their Sammy up onto the main trail.
Bryan waited until the hill was all chewed up and then easily climed it with his built Samurai.
Next we headed to an ORV area and played on the sandy hills.
"HMan1991" and "PurpleTracker" having some fun.
Chia trying to scrape the mud off his Tracker.
Rick and his rig decide to take a break or is it fix a break. Driveshaft break that is. Number 2.
Rick gently rolls up the hill while his 231 V6 does all the work.
On our way to the next play spot "HMan" had a problem.
A rusty frame had let go of a trailing arm. Ouch. It was rigged up to get it to a safe place & the ride went on.
Played for a little while on this sand hill as we made our way north.
Eventually we came to a small lake in the trail.
"Shredder" heads in to test it out followed by Chia (No Picture)
"Team Sova" was next to wallow their way across the pond.
Jeremy followed with too much speed. A big wave swamped the engine. New nick name, "Tsunami".
While the truck dried out Bryan made his way across the deep spots.
"wibornz" decided to make us laugh by swamping his stock Tracker and then going swimming. Brrrrr
Eventually we were all back on the trail and headed across a nice little stream.
Jim Silvis comes across in his, soon to get a lift, stock Sidekick or "Scooter" as he calls it.
Even a stock Tracker had no trouble with this one as Ted demonstrates.
"BusDriver" also gets across in his "Mall-Terrain" Jeep. Sorry.  8-)
We finished off the day at Fire Tower Hill. The stock rigs had some trouble but finally got up.
